Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want you to be able to try Oppye with confidence. This policy explains our voluntary money-back window, how cancellation works, and what happens to your credits when a refund is issued.

Our 14-day money-back window

We voluntarily offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first subscription payment. To keep it fair and prevent abuse, a refund under this window is available only when all of the following are true: it is your first billing period; you have consumed no more than 10 credits at the time you ask; and you have not already used a voluntary refund on this account.

If you qualify, email us within the window and we will refund your first payment in full through Stripe and move your account to the Free plan.

Statutory right of withdrawal

Oppye is a digital service that begins immediately. At checkout, EU consumers expressly ask us to start the service right away and acknowledge that they thereby give up the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal once the service has begun. The voluntary window above is offered on top of that, as a goodwill policy — it is not a statutory obligation. Business (B2B) customers do not have a consumer right of withdrawal.

Renewals and top-ups

Renewals: the voluntary window applies only to your first payment. Automatic renewal payments are not covered — cancel before your renewal date if you do not want to be charged again.

Top-up credit packs: because top-up credits are delivered instantly and never expire, a top-up purchase is refundable only if the pack is completely unused (all of its credits are still on your balance). Once any credit from a top-up has been spent, that pack is non-refundable.

What happens to your credits on a refund

If we refund your subscription payment, your account moves to the Free plan and the paid plan's credit allowance is removed; any unused monthly credits are forfeited (they have no cash value).

Credits you have already consumed are non-refundable. If we refund an unused top-up pack, those top-up credits are removed from your balance at the same time.

Billing errors we always fix

Separately from the voluntary window, we will always correct genuine billing errors: a duplicate charge, a charge after a cancellation we failed to record, or a charge for an essential service outage that lasted an extended period. Email us within 30 days of the charge and we will put it right through Stripe.

How to cancel

You can cancel at any time from your billing settings, which open the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period: you keep your plan access and credits until then, after which your account moves to the Free plan. Cancelling stops future renewals; it is not itself a refund of the current period.

How to request a refund

Email support@oppye.com from the address on your account, telling us you would like a refund and (if relevant) which charge. We aim to respond within a few business days and to process approved refunds promptly through Stripe to your original payment method.
